Therapies/Vaccines

The Canadian Association for Responsible Artificial Intelligence in Medicine develops open datasets and open bioinformatics and AI tools with diversity and global incusivity in mind.

The way we design therapies and vaccines is changing rapidly with the emergence of new AI tools to design novel small molecules, proteins, mRNA therapeutics and vaccines.

These tools will let us design personalized vaccines for cancer and communicable diseases as well as novel small molecules able to overcome traditional challenges in drug design for rare and common diseases with unmet treatment needs.

This will let us design more personalized and efficient therapeutics, including vaccines for emerging diseases requiring fewer innoculations to improve compliance, and to circumvent an evolutionary arms race.

“We ensure open access to these technologies, design them with diversity in mind to serve all people, and use them to address understudied infectious diseases, rare genetic disorders, and cancer.”
